September is blood cancer awareness month

September = Blood cancer awareness month

There are more than 140 types of blood cancer. Yet blood cancer is a hidden cancer and most Belgians are unaware of its existence. With few specific symptoms, it remains a largely unknown cancer.

This is why, in the month of September, it is so important to appeal for greater awareness of this group of diseases and their impact on patients and those around them. Throughout September the ME TO YOU Foundation will be seeking to create awareness of leukaemia and everything connected with it.

Do you know a hero or are you one yourself?

18 September is World Marrow Donor Day, a day when stem cell donation will be firmly in the spotlight. Under the slogan “Do you know a hero or are you one yourself?" the aim is to congratulate, inspire, motivate and activate stem cell donors.

Wear RED Day

30 September is ‘Wear RED Day‘. Throughout the month, ME TO YOU will be calling on people to wear red on the last day of the campaign and to post a selfie or wefie as an expression of thanks and support.
